BRAZIL -- The Brazil Concert Band will present “Snow White and Annie Wake Up in Chicago” on Sunday, July 22 in Forest Park at Brazil.

The weekly 8 p.m. concert is free of admission and will be staged rain or shine.

Director Matthew S. Huber and the 160-year-old Brazil Concert Band have tied together several musical selections for what promises to be a fun evening.

“Snow White Fantasy,” arranged by Paul Herfurth, includes the music from Walt Disney’s “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”

From the movie “Annie” comes “Tomorrow,” “It’s the Hard Knock Life” and “I Don’t Need Anything But You,” all in a setting by John Higgins.

The Chicago connection includes a medley of tunes from the band Chicago with “Wake Up Sunshine,” “25 or 6 to 4” and “Make Me Smile” by Robert Lamm and James Pankow.

March lovers will rejoice to “The Belle of Chicago” and the World War I medley “Flags of Freedom” both by John Philip Sousa, Henry Fillmore’s “The Footlifter” and “Call of the Road” by Fred Jewell.

From the Middle Ages comes “Or La Truix” arranged by Robert Ricks and from Russia, “A Slavic Farewell,” edited by Col. John Bourgeois.

Fans of Burt Bacharach and Hal David can groove to “Bacharach and David” with “I Say a Little Prayer,” “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again,” “This Guy’s in Love With You” and “Do You Know the Way to San Jose,” arranged by John Cacavas.
