Car show Saturday to benefit Riley Children’s Hospital

Classic cars will be on display when the ninth annual Children’s Miracle Network Car, Truck and Bike Show returns to the Putnam County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Aug. 4.

Admission is free to the public.

Approximately 150 cars, trucks and motorcycles are expected to compete in multiple categories with awards going to the top 50 entries.

This year’s goal is to raise $10,000 for Riley Children’s Hospital at Indianapolis, spokesman Larry Hall said for the organizers.

On-site registration starts at 9 a.m. with judging at 11 and awards at 2 p.m.

Registration fee is $10 in advance and $15 on the day of the show.

Music, food and an indoor vendor fair are also slated.

Rain date for the car show is Sunday, Aug. 5.
