SPORTS BRIEFS: Time changed for Vipers 10U baseball tryout

Tuesday, August 7, 2018

The Greencastle Vipers 10-and-under travel baseball club will be having tryouts from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday at Big Walnut Sports Park in Greencastle.

The time was recently changed due to a conflict with youth football activities.

“Our mission as coaches is to help each athlete grow his baseball IQ, become a better player and teammate and strive to be a better player than the day before,” said Darren Hughes, one of the team’s coaches. “We can take players from any area, but we want players to be fully committed to our team and growing as a player.”

Interested players who are unable to attend the tryout session may contact Hughes at GreencastleVipers@outlook.com or (765) 720-0946 for a personal tryout.

Information can also be obtained from Aaron Gregg at (314) 607-2018 or Matt Tyson at (765) 721-2594.
