Voter registration effort Wednesday at Ivy Tech

On Wednesday, Aug. 22 Ivy Tech's Greencastle campus will host a voter registration drive during their Student Life Day in partnership with the Putnam County Clerk's Office and the Greencastle League of Women Voters.

The voter registration drive is open to the general public during the 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. event at Ivy Tech, 915 Zinc Mill Rd., Greencastle.

The deadline to register to vote is Oct. 9.

Persons can register to vote if they are both a U.S. citizen and a resident of Indiana and will be at least 18 years of age on or before the election on Nov. 6.

The Putnam County Clerk's Office will also have a voting machine available for inspection.
