Marking 175 Years

During a solemn moment, Past Master Randy Seipel places his hand on the Bible as he rededicates Temple Lodge No. 47 F&AM to the principles of Freemasonry late-Saturday morning. The ritual was a highlight of events celebrating the lodge’s 175-year history. The ceremony was attended by members of the Grand Lodge of Indiana F&AM, itself celebrating its 200th anniversary in 2018, with Grand Master Carl Culmann presiding over the rites. After the ceremony, remarks were given by Seipel, Culmann and Greencastle mayor Bill Dory during a luncheon hosted by the lodge.
