Anne Breeden, 68, of Fillmore, passed away Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018 at Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse, N.Y.
Anne was born in Dunvournie, Scotland, on Nov. 1, 1949.
Anne was a retired truck driver.
She was very actively involved in the giving of her time at the Putnam County Senior Center in Greencastle. She never met a stranger, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand to those who needed it.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Jane Clayphan; her husband, Howard Breeden; one sister, Joan More; and a brother, Donald Clayphan.
Anne is survived by her daughter, Sarah Elphinstone of Black River, N.Y.; her daughter and son-in-law Rachel and Eric Shockley of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Mary Findlayson; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a number of nieces and nephews.
