Mitch Logan Warner, 31, of Cloverdale, passed away Monday, Aug. 27, 2018.

Born Oct. 17, 1986, he was the son of Tish and Kerman Goss.

Mitch was a 2006 Cloverdale graduate who joined the Cloverdale Township Fire Department in 2006. He served on the Greencastle Fire Department from 2011 to 2012.

He attended Vincennes University to study heavy-duty diesel equipment. Mitch worked for MacAllister Machinery as a heavy equipment sales inspector and was a middle school football coach.

He was an avid outdoorsman and devoted his life to community service.

He was a friend, brother, uncle and son. Mitch leaves a hole in the hearts of all that knew him.

Mitch is survived by his parents, Tish and Kerman Goss; girlfriend Ashley Mattingly; sisters Autumn Shake and her husband Jimmy and niece Cecily and nephew Elias, Holly (Goss) Gardner and Christy Minton and her husband Jerry; brothers Matt Warner and his wife Ellen, and Dustin Burnham; grandfather Lee Wise and his wife Lynn; grandmother Marie Goss; uncles Gary Goss and his wife Julie, and John Wise and his wife Renee; many wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Funeral services for Mitch will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31 with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Cloverdale Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Helen Wise.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Cloverdale Township Fire Department, P.O. Box 271, Cloverdale, IN 46120.
