Silver Linings group to perform Sept. 4 at Asbury Towers

Friday, August 31, 2018

The senior theater group Silver Linings has scheduled only one performance in September at Asbury Towers on Tuesday, Sept. 4, beginning at 1:30 p.m.

The group will be doing two of the three plays it has been preparing for the fall -- “A Matter of Husbands” by Ferenc Molnar and “He Said and She Said,” by Alice Gerstenberg.

The third play Silver Linings is developing for the fall is Anton Chekhov’s “The Boor.”

Silver Linings, a script-in-hand theater group, will be practicing from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17 at the Putnam County Museum. Any senior citizen is welcome.

The theater group is scheduling nothing else until after Sept. 17, organizer Kathy Stephan said, “as we are stretched mighty thin with just 11 players and one musician.”

“We are hoping to attract more members after the Autumn Glen and Asbury Towers performances,” she added, inviting all interested seniors to the Sept. 17 meeting at the museum, 1105 N. Jackson St., Greencastle.
