NEW WINCHESTER -- State Road 75 will close just south of U.S. 36 on or after Tuesday, Sept. 4 to replace a small structure, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced.

The structure is over Miller Creek and is located between West CR 150 South and U.S. 36.

The road is scheduled to reopen on Oct. 15.

The official detour follows U.S. 36 to State Road 39 to U.S. 40 and back to Ind. 75.

The small structure replacement project was awarded to Calumet Civil Contractors Inc. for $413,800.

INDOT reminds motorists to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
