Annual Fair Board meeting set for Sept. 17

The annual Putnam County Fair Board membership meeting will be Monday, Sept. 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Building at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

The evening will include a pitch-in dinner, annual business, awards and the election of board directors. All are welcome with the annual dues of $1 at the door.

The following township director positions are up for election: Cloverdale, Franklin, Jackson, Madison, Marion, Monroe and Warren. Township directors serve two-year terms.

There are also eight at-large director positions available. At-large directors are elected to one-year terms.

All nominees will have an opportunity during the meeting to express their interest in serving the community as a Fair Board director.
