Tuesday, September 25, 2018

CLOVERDALE -- The third annual Cloverween celebration is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29 at Cloverdale High School.

The Cloverdale Main Street organization sponsors the annual event, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with vendor booths, a car show, dunk tank, carnival games and, of course, food vendors.

Live bands will begin playing at 11 a.m. at the high school, while the Cloverdale Lions Club will conduct free vision screenings for children.

The masquerade parade will commence at 1 p.m., starting at U.S. 231 and Cemetery Road and continuing to Logan Street.

Cloverdale Police Officer Levi App will be in the dunk tank, attempting to raise funds in support of the department’s new K-9 officer, Maggie

Booth space is still available by contacting Kay Gedert at 721-6245 or 765-795-2422.

  • This is a nice event for the community. Endeavor had a “fun fest” two weeks ago. Cloverdale has its homecoming that same week. How about COMBINING it all and have a huge event?
