Anita R. Cole

Anita R. Cole, 74, of Seymour, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018.

Born Nov. 11, 1943, she worked as a missionary spreading the gospel throughout the world.

She attended Seymour Heights Christian Church for 11 years. She formerly attended and was a member of Greencastle Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Violet Morris, and children, Brenda Cole and Jeffrey Cole.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Cole; son and daughter-in-law: Brian Cole (Susan); daughter Teresa Cole; grandchildren Angela Collins-Stephens (Matthew), Daniel Collins-Elliott (David), Tyler Cole and Kathryn Cole; great-grandchildren Madalynn Kidwell, Grayson Kidwell and Aiden Stephens; brother Thomas Morris; and sister Shirley Cobb (Ralph).

The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28 with a memorial service to follow at 4 p.m. at Seymour Heights Christian Church, Pastor Harold Keck officiating.

Graveside service and inurnment at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway.
