Painting the Town

Tiffany Hancock of Green Light Art Studio works with Stacie Langdon and J.D. Miller of Putnam County Comprehensive Services on painting their design in front of the Banner Graphic. More businesses were decorated later in the day. The designs are the product of a competition sponsored by the Greencastle Civic League and the Greencastle Arts Council. The designs will be judged today, and four of them will be recognized during the downtown Halloween festivities as being the scariest, most festive, most unique and having the most hometown spirit.

Downtown businesses get a little more spooky with their storefronts painted with Halloween-themed designs Monday morning. The front windows of Abstract and Title and a number of other businesses were finished by 11 a.m.
