Salads 101 program set for Nov. 8 at Area 30

In a joint effort between Area 30 Culinary Arts and the Putnam County Extension Homemakers, Salad 101 will be offered to local residents on Thursday, Nov. 8.

The program will begin at noon in the Community Room at Area 30, 1 N. Calbert Way, Greencastle.

The lesson will provide participants with preparation and cooking demonstrations for various assorted salads.

There will also be an opportunity to tour the Area 30 Ivy Gallery.

Individuals must register by 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5 for the class and there is a $5 fee to cover lesson expenses.

To register, call the Purdue Extension Putnam County office at 653-8411 and one may pay the fee at the door.
