Thursday, November 8, 2018

CRAWFORDSVILLE — DePauw wraps up the 2018 season by traveling to Wabash College on Saturday in the 125th gridiron meeting between the two schools and 87th for possession of the Monon Bell.

Kickoff from Hollett Little Giant Stadium in Crawfordsville is set for 1:07 p.m.

DePauw is 4-5 overall and 4-4 in the NCAC after Saturday’s 38-6 win over Kenyon, while Wabash is 8-1 overall and 7-1 in the NCAC following Saturday’s 54-17 win over Allegheny.

With a win, DePauw would regain possession of the Bell for the second time in three years. A Wabash win would mean the Little Giants retain possession of the Monon Bell and capture a share of the North Coast Athletic Conference title.

Wabash holds a 61-54-9 series lead including a 42-38-6 advantage in games played for possession of the Monon Bell, which entered the rivalry in 1932.

DePauw lost the 2017 game by a 22-21 score on a disputed two-point conversion play by Wabash.

In addition to radio coverage from DePauw’s WGRE (91.5FM), the game will be televised via Fox Sports Indiana and Fox College Sports Central.

Live streaming is available through the Fox Sports app.
