Anna Marie Haga of Reelsville passed away Thursday, Nov. 1 at her son’s home at the age of 96, one week away from her 97th birthday.

She was born Nov. 8, 1921, the daughter of Anna Belle (Long) and Charles Higgins.

She attended Number 10 Schoolhouse through the eighth grade.

Anna married Glen McClellan Crawley. They raised three children. She worked as a housekeeper at Putnam County Hospital, an aide at Ruark Nursing Home and maid at the Commercial Hotel. She was a member of the Moose Lodge.

She was preceded in death by siblings Robert “Buck,” Henry, Roy and Charles David Higgins and Margaret “Peg” Parrish, Louise Rogers, Sandy Welch and Sherry Jo Higgins; husbands Glen Crawley and Charles Haga; children Glen Edward and Carolyn Grooms; and great-grandchildren Tanner Fenwick, Misty Brooke Clark and Steven Roy Clark.

She is survived by son Robert “Bob” Crawley (Bonnie); seven grandchildren, Lynn Fenwick (Gary), Tonya Cameron (Greg), Doug Crawley, Rob Crawley, Jason Crawley (Chana Stewart), Roni McMains (Ronnie) and Lisa Clark (Roy); nine great-grandchildren, Kimberlyn Fenwick, Dallen, Kyan and Kaden Cameron, Tegan Crawley, Ashley Jackson, Ryan McMains, Morgan Clark (John) and Emily Bill (Andy); three great-great-grandchildren, Raelynn Clark, Kenadie Jackson and Ryder Crawley.

She is also survived by sister Connie Trueblood, sister-in-law Frances Higgins and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation will be handled by Simplicity Funeral Care.

A celebration of Annie’s life will take place from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18 at Bob and Bonnie’s home, 6852 S. CR 650 West, Reelsville. All friends and family are invited.
