Park sets registration for Dec. 15 Breakfast with Grinch event
The Grinch doesn't mean to be all Grinch-like but space requires him to limit his exposure to the first 40 pals and gals who register for the Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department's annual Breakfast with the Grinch event.
The program is scheduled for 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at Putnam Inn in Greencastle.
Cost of the event is $10 per person and registration can be done on line at www.greencastleparks.com.
Last year's event at the Putnam Inn was a sell-out with a number of attendees from out-of-town locations like Danville, Avon, Plainfield and Brownsburg, so park officials urge local residents interested in the program to sign up early if they want to be assured of a spot.
Youngsters will listen to the Dr. Seuss story "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" before enjoying a breakfast of green eggs and ham.
Photos and crafts are also planned, along with a Cindy Lou Who costume contest
Pre-registration is required and a registered adult must accompany a child.
