Patricia A. Varvil Keith

Patricia A. Varvil Keith, 91, of Plainfield, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018.

She was born June 23, 1927 in Danville, Ind., to the late Quincy and Eva (Knight) Berry.

She was a member of Plainfield Christian Church.

She was an avid golfer and enjoyed family activities and entertaining guests.

She served on the board at Asbury Towers Retirement Community in Greencastle.

She worked for Allison Detroit Diesel plant in Indianapolis for 21 years, retiring as executive secretary in 1988.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Linda J. Bendick; a son, Doug (Jan) Varvil; a sister, Katharine Altland; four grandchildren, Alexa Mann, Matt Russell, Dustin Varvil and Ben Varvil; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Varvil and Norman Keith; and a great-grandson, Chase Douglas Varvil.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home (www.hamptongentry.com), Plainfield, where friends may call on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m.

Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
