Depression group forming at PCH

A depression skills group is forming at Putnam County Hospital led by Dr. Nicholas Heck, the new director of Behavioral Health.

Dr. Heck is originally from Owen County, but most recently was assistant professor of psychology at Marquette University in Milwaukee.

Projected starting date for the group will be late January and it will last 10 weeks.

The group members should be motivated to build skills for coping with depression and be willing to address relationship issues.

Individuals can self-refer or be referred by their primary care physician.

The services will be billable to group member’s health insurance.
