County Jail

Six people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Thursday

• At 4:49 a.m. Brock A. Hall, 27, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

• At 4:14 a.m. Terrence Lamonette Bell, 50, Terre Haute, was taken into custody on a local warrant.

• At 4:10 a.m. James Franklin Walker, 60, Terre Haute, was housed at the jail on a local warrant.

Wednesday

• At 10:05 p.m. Jerry Allen Harris, 33, Poland, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

• At 3:06 p.m. Jeffrey Scott Gardner, 50, Greencastle, was taken into custody on a petition to revoke bond.

• At 2:23 p.m. Justin D. Hodges, 39, Coatesville, was housed at the jail for residential entry.

City Police

A 47-year-old Reelsville man was arrested Wednesday morning after leaving the scene of a one-vehicle accident at Bloomington and Martinsville streets on Greencastle’s south side.

Mark Fox was taken into custody at 11:06 a.m. by Officer Brad Hiatt at the South Street entrance to Millstone Point Apartments after his 2005 Dodge Ram truck struck a Duke Energy pole near Stone’s Auto Body Specialists. Fox reportedly left the scene following the 10:45 a.m. accident.

Lodged in the Putnam County Jail, Fox was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving with a suspended license with a prior offense, operating a vehicle without financial responsibility and invasion of privacy.

Total damage in the accident was estimated at $2,500-$5,000.

• At 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, Tim Amburn, 51, Greencastle, was arrested after reportedly leaving the scene of an accident at State Road 240 and Capital Drive.

Officer Zach Rhine stopped Amburn on Washington Street between Locust and Spring streets, charging him with leaving the scene of an accident and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Amburn was lodged in the Putnam County Jail.

He was also issued citations for an infraction of driving with a suspended license and for failure to file for financial responsibility.

Two additional traffic citations were issued recently by Greencastle City Police officers.

• At 3:52 p.m. Sunday, Anthony Anderson, 56, Cloverdale, was cited by Officer Kyle Lee.

Pulled over in the parking lot of Northview Apartments, Anderson was cited for an infraction of operating with a suspended license.

• At 11:19 a.m. Saturday, Clinton Ferguson, 36, Greencastle, was ticketed by Officer Brad Hiatt.

Stopped along Washington Street, Ferguson was cited for operating a motor vehicle without financial responsibility.
