Audra Helen (Burnett) Corn, 93, passed away on Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, at Legacy Lane on Mill Pond Health Campus in Greencastle.

Born to George and Emma (Henager) Burnett of Oakland City, on Oct. 2, 1925, she was older sister to Imogene and Sharon.

She was married to Forrest Corn Jr. for 64 years. They had two children, Larry and Deana.

Audra worked at Hollett and Harmon Drug Store in Brownsburg for more than 30 years, often behind the soda fountain.

Since 1956, she was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church, and taught Sunday School there for 24 years.

She enjoyed cooking for family, crocheting and knitting blankets and sewing beautiful quilts. Her laugh and feisty spirit will never be forgotten.

Audra was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, and husband.

She is survived by Larry (Judy) Corn and Deana (Bob) Gray; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five nieces; and five nephews.

Visitation is at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20 at Matthews Mortuary, 690 E. 56th St., Brownsburg. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.
