Putnam Scanner for December 31, 2018

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to two recent dispatches to 106 S. Spring St.:

• At 7:15 p.m. on Friday, GFD was dispatched for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at about 7:16 and determined that the alarm was due to smoking. The alarm was then reset. GFD left at 7:19 p.m.

• At 1 a.m. on Sunday, GFD was dispatched again for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 1:04 and determined that the alarm was due to cooking. The alarm was then reset. GFD left at 1:10 a.m.
