Maurice D. Unversaw

Maurice D. Unversaw, 81, Amo, passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2019.

He was born in Martinsville, Ind., on Feb. 5, 1937 the son of Delbert M. and Dorothy A. Balay Unversaw.

He was a 1955 graduate of Amo High School and a member of the National Guard Reserve.

He was a member of the Amo Baptist Church.

He had been a manager at Carrier in Indianapolis.

He enjoyed making and flying model airplanes, fishing, hunting, boating, outdoor sportsmanship and going to buffets.

He is survived by his children, Matthew Unversaw, N.J., and Maria Unversaw Cavileer, N.J.; stepdaughter, Bonnie Hanlon, Florida; grandchildren Jessica, Alix, Kelsie, Hallie and Bailey; one great-grandson; sisters Joyce (Gary) Hanlon, Florida, Donna (Jerry) Broadstreet, Fillmore, and Phyllis Bunderick, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his parents and his brother-in-law, John Bunderick.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bousley Funeral Home (www.bousleyfuneralhome.com), Coatesville, with Pastor Shelly Zook officiating.

Burial will follow in Coatesville Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
