Courtney R. Mitchell

Courtney R. Mitchell, 24, Indianapolis, formerly of Greencastle, passed away on Dec. 29, 2018.

She was born in Terre Haute on Jan. 28, 1994 to John and Lori Mitchell.

Survivors include her mother, Lori Mitchell; daughter Adriana Mitchell; brother Joshua Mitchell and stepbrother Matthew Crowder; aunt Jane Mitchell and uncle George Mitchell.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Mitchell, and grandparents Garland and Helen Hixon.

Courtney graduated from the Excell Center and worked for Heartland Automotive before moving to Indianapolis.

Courtney loved computers and music.

Her dream was to attend school and receive a degree in cyber security.

Before her life ended on this earth, she committed herself to God and was a dedicated witness to all who knew her.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, Jan. 12, starting at 10 a.m. at Greencastle Christian Church, 620 Primrose Lane.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association in memory of her father.
