Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb (center) had the opportunity Tuesday to meet with Indiana's new legislators, including District 44 State Rep. Beau Baird, R-Greencastle, (second from left). "I look forward to working with them this year," Holcomb said of the new group, which is already in session at the statehouse. In addition to Baird, there are seven other new GOP House members: Ethan Manning, Denver, District 23; Chuck Goodrich, Noblesville, District 29; John Prescott, Union City, District 33; Christy Stutzman, Middlebury, District 49; Bradford Barrett, Richmond, District 56; Ryan Lauer, Columbus, District 59; Matt Hostettler, Fort Branch, District 64; and four new state Republican senators, Justin Busch, Fort Wayne, District 16; Chris Garten, Charlestown, District 45; Mike Gaskill, Pendleton, District 26; and Linda Rogers, Granger, District 11. The new Indiana House Democrats are: Carolyn B. Jackson, Hammond, District 1; Ragen Hatcher, Gary, District 3; Patricia A. Boy, Michigan City, District 9; Chris Chyung, Dyer, District 15; Lisa Beck, Crown Point, District 19; Chris Campbell, West Lafayette, District 26; Tonya Pfaff, Terre Haute, District 43; and Rita Fleming, Jeffersonville, District 71. The Democrats also have one new state senator, J.D. Ford of Indianapolis, in District 29.
