Sue Faust Chenoweth

On Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019, Sue Faust Chenoweth, loving mother of two sons, passed away at the age of 63.

Sue was born on Nov. 10, 1955 in Lafayette to Leland and Jean Faust. She received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Ball State University in 1978, which began a 40-year career in accounting -- early with the Indiana Department of Revenue, later with the big eight accounting firm, Coopers & Lybrand and culminating with a 20-year career as a sole practitioner.

Sue was a member of the Castleton United Methodist Church where she served in its finance committee. She also served in financial capacities for Lawrence Township School Foundation and the East Avalon Hills Homeowners Association.

Sue was preceded in death by her father, Leland Faust, and mother, Jean Faust.

She is survived by her beloved sons, Carter Chenoweth of Indianapolis and Taylor Chenoweth (wife Natalie) of Dayton, Ohio; two brothers, Tom Faust (wife Judy) of Lafayette and David Faust (wife Shana) of Greencastle; and several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Friday Jan. 25 at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 321 E. South St, Linden, from 5-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Erin Michelle Weaver officiating and interment following in Linden Cemetery.
