Looks Like 40-Below

Tuesday, January 29, 2019
Perhaps an image of the freezing temperatures that are coming our way, a light layer of snow could be seen sprinkling a field in Marion Township in a kind of chilly desolation Tuesday morning. As a result of a polar vortex that will sweep the Midwest, Putnam County will experience dangerous -30 to -45-degree wind chills, some of the coldest air the area has seen in more than two decades. A wind chill advisory issued for central Indiana will be in effect from Tuesday evening until Thursday afternoon.
