Farm Bureau collecting 100 pounds for 100 years

Thursday, January 31, 2019

In celebration of Indiana Farm Bureau’s 100th anniversary, all 92 county Farm Bureaus are hoping to donate at least 100 pounds of food to a local charity by March 12.

Putnam County residents can help the local Farm Bureau collect its “100 pounds for 100 years” by dropping off non-perishable donations at the Putnam County Farm Bureau Insurance office, 1001 N. Jackson St., Greencastle.

Suggested items needed include canned fruit, canned meats, vegetable soups, chicken noodle soups, pork and beans, pasta sauces, ravioli and other canned pasta, macaroni and cheese and individually wrapped cracker packages.

Our neighbors in need at the Beyond Homeless shelter will appreciate anything you can give.
