Carlos Ray Burgess, 77, of Cloverdale, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019.
He was born Feb. 14, 1941 to the late Alvin and Nina (Hestand) Melton.
Carlos married Carole Moody, and she preceded him in death April 4, 2016.
Carlos was retired from Ford Motor Co., was an Army veteran and member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his sons, Carl R. Burgess (Tanya Garrison) and Craig Burgess; grandsons Cole W. Burgess and Cody S. Burgess; and brothers Alvin Melton and Charles Melton.
Funeral services for Carlos will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service time of 1 p.m.
