Putnam Scanner for February 16, 2019

Three people were booked in the Putnam County Jail on Thursday.

• At 2:54 p.m. Robert Michael Noble, 47, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail on a court order.

• At 11:11 a.m. James Shirley, 26, Indianapolis, was taken into custody on a local warrant.

• At 9:36 a.m. Andrea Breanne Scwibbe, 33, Bainbridge, was booked in on a local warrant.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to two recent dispatches:

• At 5:09 p.m. on Thursday, GFD was dispatched to 105 S. Jackson St. for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 5:13 and determined the alarm was due to cooking. The alarm was then reset. GFD left at 5:16 p.m.

• At 12:12 a.m. on Friday, GFD was dispatched to 303 S. Locust St. for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 12:16 and determined the alarm was due to smoking. The alarm was then reset. GFD left at 12:27 a.m.

Additionally, GFD performed one medical assist after these dispatches.
