County Jail

Three people were booked in the Putnam County Jail on Thursday night.

• At 11:41 p.m. Shawna Renee Gouckenour, 36, Bainbridge, was lodged at the jail on a local traffic warrant.

• At 10:46 p.m. Christopher Nicholas Cornelius, 29, Greencastle, was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

• At 10:29 p.m. Aahmed Jaamal Rucker, 38, Knoxville, Tenn., was booked in on an out-of-county warrant.

City Police

One recent traffic citation was issued by Greencastle City Police officers.

• At 7:10 p.m. Thursday, Beth Wilburn, 54, Greencastle, was ticketed by Officer Alec Pettit.

Stopped on Indianapolis Road, Wilburn was cited for driving with a suspended license with a prior offense.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to one recent dispatch:

• At 12:18 a.m. on Thursday, GFD was dispatched to 1 Taylor Place for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 12:24 and determined the alarm was due to smoking. The alarm was then reset. GFD left at 12:32 a.m.

Additionally, GFD performed three medical assists and had one disregard.
