On the Road Again

With crews from Miller Pipeline working on relocating utility lines along the south side of Indianapolis Road west of Percy Julian Drive, traffic creeps along in one lane on the north side of the street as preliminary work continues on the pavement widening, drainage and sidewalk project. So far trees in the right-of-way along Indianapolis Road have been removed or cut back and utility lines are being relocated in preparation for the major portion of the project expected to begin -- weather permitting -- later this month or in April on Greencastle’s East Side. Frank C. Feutz Contractors, Paris, Ill., the same firm that did the repaving and widening of Percy Julian Drive in 2011, is the general contractor on the $1,161,773 project.
