Lynda A. Wright Knapp

Lynda A. Wright Knapp, 71, of Bloomington, died Friday, March 15, 2019 at Garden Villa following a lengthy, debilitating illness.

Lynda was born on Sept. 27, 1947 in Greencastle and graduated from Greencastle High School.

She was a receptionist and bookkeeper most of her life. She was married to Richard Knapp from April 6, 1968 to September 2000.

She is survived by her son Wade Knapp and grandsons Tristain, Jordon, and Kaden of Salisbury, Md.; son Rusty Knapp and fiancée Kota Brault of Bloomington; devoted partner of many years Larry Yost and sister Dianne Wieckert of Bloomington; niece Kim McCall of Columbus, Ga.; and nephew James C. Wright of Pinson, Ala.

Lynda was preceded in death by mother Francine Mark and brother James C. Wright Sr.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 22 at the New Providence Cemetery in Greencastle, followed by a gathering of friends and family at the Putnam Inn to celebrate her life. Cremation rites have been accorded.
