"Rediscovering Putnam County: Tiny Towns and Vanished Villages" will again be the topic of the evening Thursday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the Putnam County Museum, 1105 N. Jackson St., Greencastle. Putnam County Historian Larry Tippin will present his third installment of a series devoted to lost local burgs and uninhabited hamlets.

Each month's talk will encompass places in each tier of Putnam County townships, north, central and south.

Tippin will speak about the research necessary to establish where some places once stood, what happened there and who lived, worked and traded in that location.

Towns to be covered Thursday include New Maysville, Belle Union/Bobtown and Brunerstown/Keytsville.

In the January, the first segment of the series focused on Carpentersville, Vivalia and Horntown, while nearly 40 people were on hand in February to hear about Swanksville, Vettersville and Mill Creek Township.
