Eighth annual South Putnam Alumni Banquet set April 27

Plans are being finalized for the 8th Annual South Putnam Alumni Banquet scheduled for Saturday, April 27 at the South Putnam High School cafetorium.

The evening will begin with a social hour at 5 p.m. for alumni to tour the building and catch up with old friends.

The program will begin at 6 p.m. as emcee Brad Hayes, former principal at Fillmore Elementary, welcomes everyone, including the 25th and 40th anniversary classes of 1979 and 1994.

This year’s Hall of Fame Teacher honor will be presented to Helen Martin, former fifth-grade teacher at Reelsville, who touched so many lives along the way.

Other activities include presentation of Alumni Hall of Fame, Teacher Grant and the SPC Education Foundation Scholarship, along with the Wildman Scholarship. Invitations are available from Anita Bartley Ferrand or online at Eventbrite.com. Invitations are needed for meal count, but payment could be made at the door.
