Glenn D. Sanders Sr.

Glenn D. Sanders Sr., 69, St. Louis, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Mercy South Hospital, St. Louis County.

He was born March 7, 1950, in Little Rock, Ark., son of the late Eugene and Catherine (Peel) Sanders.

Glenn lived in Greencastle from 1991-2014 before moving to Indianapolis and most recently to St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, James Sanders, Rick, Sanders and Mike Sanders.

Glenn is survived by four sons, Chris (Christina) Sanders, Greg Sanders, Glenn Sanders II and Dewayne Sanders; eight grandchildren, Harrison, Catherine, Bailey, Anthony, Trevor, Justis, Glenn III and Levi; five great-grandchildren, Emerson, Bentley, Carter, Nolan and Annora; a sister, Brenda Sanders; eight brothers, Ronnie Sanders, Billie Sanders, Tim Sanders, Cotton Sanders, Johnny Sanders, Tony Sanders, Steve Sanders and Kenny Sanders.

He was a dear uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many.

A memorial service celebrating Glenn's life will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, April 7, immediately followed by a memorial gathering until 3 p.m.

The memorial celebration and gathering will be at Hawthorne Community Center, 2440 W. Ohio St., Indianapolis, IN 46222.
