Ivy Gallery sets final lunch of year April 17

The award-winning Culinary Arts students at the Area 30 Career Center will host their final Ivy Gallery luncheon of the 2018-19 school year on Wednesday, April 17, Culinary Arts instructor Mary Anne Birt has announced.

Seating will begin at noon.

Cost of the three-course meal, which doubles as a fundraiser for the program, is $11 per person. The price includes a drink, salad, main entrée and dessert selections.

The menu will include some new items according to what students have been studying, along with lighter dessert fare -- such as scratch angel food cake with fruit and lemon mousse parfait -- at the request of customers, Birt said.

Due to limited seating, it is an RSVP-only event. Reservations can be made by calling 317-997-9247.

The Ivy Gallery is located within the Area 30 Career Center, adjacent to the old IBM cafeteria, off State Road 240 at Calbert Way on Greencastle's East Side.
