The public is invited to jump start its 2019 garage sale shopping this Saturday, April 6.

Between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., interested persons can stop by the Putnam County Fairgrounds, where numerous groups and individuals will be offering a variety of items. Saturday’s sale will be held safely indoors rain or shine.

The Annual Garage Sale is one of two events sponsored by Extension Homemakers Past Presidents Club members to benefit local 4-H and other Extension programming.

Joining the vendors this year will be a booth headed up by new 4-H Exhibit Hall Superintendent Misti Scott to raise funds specifically for judging expenses in the 4-H Exhibit Hall.

For more information about Saturday’s sale or about the local Extension Homemakers organization, call or stop in the Putnam County Office of the Purdue Extension Service at 12 Central Square, between College and Vine streets in Greencastle (phone 653-8411).
