County Jail

Seven people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Thursday

• At 2:01 a.m. Jayne Ann Selvia, 58, Greencastle, was booked in for driving while intoxicated with a prior conviction.

• At 1:35 a.m. Mallory Aileen Campbell-Norris, 34, Indianapolis, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

Wednesday

• At 11:41 p.m. Jordan Alexis Symone Easton, 25, Indianapolis, was taken into custody on an out-of-county warrant.

• At 3:55 p.m. Christina D. Dickison, 40, Clay City, was housed at the jail for possession of methamphetamine and driving while intoxicated.

• At 1:52 p.m. Daniel Ray Hagan, 40, Roachdale, was booked in on three Marion County warrants and a writ of body attachment.

Tuesday

• At 3:58 p.m. Mark Anthony Boehm, 41, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail on a petition to revoke probation.

• At 3:52 p.m. Nicholas Gage Bishop, 22, Coatesville, was taken into custody on a local warrant.

City Police

Two Greencastle women were arrested Tuesday afternoon on theft charges, Greencastle City Police reported.

Amanda Sue Shelton, 31, and Christina Marie Stark, 31, were arrested at 1:56 p.m. by Officer Brad Hiatt as a result of a reported shoplifting incident at the Greencastle Walmart store.

The suspects reportedly switched tags on merchandise while using the U-scan station, acting as if they were properly scanning their purchases but altering prices by scanning lesser tags.

Stark allegedly took $49.83 in merchandise, including shorts, T-shirts and underwear.

Shelton reportedly took $42.63 in merchandise, including shorts, shirts and a bra.

Both women were booked into the Putnam County Jail.

Meanwhile, two citations were issued Thursday morning for a Clay County woman.

• At 7:32 a.m., Oceaia Boetjer, 28, Brazil, was stopped by Officer Darrel Bunten for excessive speed on Veterans Memorial Highway.

Boetjer was ticketed for 65 mph in a 40-mph zone as well as for driving with a suspended license with a prior offense.
