Tuesday, May 7, 2019

Putnam County Public Library Board of Directors President Alan Zerkel and Library Director Brian Briscoe will be the featured guests of a Community Conversation at PCPL on Tuesday, May 14 at 6:30 p.m.

Zerkel is a longtime educator who holds a bachelor’s degree from Manchester University, a master’s degree from Purdue University and a superintendent certification from Indiana University. Briscoe has worked for years in public service for libraries in the Midwest, and holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations and Korean history, as well as a master’s in library science.

This is an opportunity for everyone to learn more about the library’s objectives in Putnam County, from providing needed services to maintaining the collection and encouraging positive outcomes for the community. There will be an opportunity for questions from the audience.

This Community Conversation is sponsored by the Greencastle League of Women Voters, the Putnam County Public Library and the Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce. The goal of this continuing program is to provide the community an opportunity to hear from and speak to their elected and appointed government officials.
