County Jail

Six people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Sunday

• At 7:59 p.m. Patrick Steven Zaborski, 48, Greencastle, was housed at the jail on a local warrant.

Saturday

• At 8:35 a.m. Andrea Lynn Vickrey, 27, Greencastle, was booked in for theft.

• A12:25 a.m. Michael Bryan Patrick Osburn, 22, Dayton, Ohio, was lodged at the jail for auto theft, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a syringe and possession of paraphernalia with a prior conviction.

Friday

• At 4:20 p.m. Stephanie Danielle Ray, 33, Terre Hatue, was taken into custody for driving with a suspended license

• At 9:28 a.m. Joshua Andrew Mitchell, 23, Greenastle, was housed at the jail for possession of a synthetic drug and for driving while intoxicated with a prior conviction.

• At 8:36 a.m. Loretta Sue Boehm, 38, Greencastle, was booked in for public intoxication, probation violation and on a local warrant.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to five recent dispatches:

• At 7:18 p.m. on Friday, GFD was dispatched to 106 S. Spring St. for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 7:22 and found that the alarm was caused by burning food. The room was ventilated, and the alarm was then reset. GFD left at 7:37 p.m.

• At 5:48 p.m. on Saturday, GFD responded to a mutual aid call for a structure fire at 6708 S. County Rd. 800 W. Firefighters arrived at 6:12 p.m. and assisted the Reelsville Volunteer Fire Department with salvage and overhaul. GFD returned to station at 7:30 p.m.

• At 3:14 p.m. on Sunday, GFD was called to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at 1967 S. County Rd. 200 W. Units arrived on the scene at 3:20 assisted the patient, as well as cleaned debris from the roadway. GFD returned to station at 3:43 p.m.

• At 8:27 p.m. on Sunday, GFD responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Washington Street and Wood Street. Units arrived on the scene at 8:31 and assisted the patients, as well as cleaned debris from the roadway. GFD returned to station at 8:48 p.m.

• At 11:57 p.m. on Sunday, GFD was dispatched to 904 S. College Ave. for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 12:04 a.m. in Monday morning and found that smoke from a candle had caused the alarm. The alarm was then reset. GFD left at 12:10 a.m.

Additionally, GFD performed seven medical assists during this time.
