Threshin’ and Balin’

Despite the humidity and a few hiccups Saturday afternoon, Putnam County Antique Tractor and Machinery Association members Kevin Foy (left) and Don Smith (right) load a 1910s McCormick-Farmall hay baler, while President Jim Call (center) adjusts the wire. They also operated a Depression-era McCormick-Deering thresher, seen in the background. The demonstrations were part of the main attraction at the third annual antique tractor show at the Putnam County Museum, which also featured crafts made by local artisans.
