Library to present ‘Around the World in Beer’

Travel around the world of beer and experience a little history, some culture and a few beer styles and flavors you never knew existed without ever leaving the comfort of the Putnam County Public Library.

Along the way, learn how beer is made, where the different flavors come from and maybe find a new favorite beer.

PCPL will present “Around The World In Beer,” a special presentation and beer tasting from Anita Johnson from Great Fermentations, from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 28.

The library has brought in Johnson to present this program for beer lovers, homebrewers and any other enthusiasts of beer and libations.

Attendees must be at least 21 and must show a valid ID at the door before the event. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the front desk of the library before the event or at the door at the event.

Tickets are limited so those interested are encouraged to buy them early.
