End of the Line

Joining their classmates in a time-honored tradition, Greencastle High School senior class president Jaxon Parmley, salutatorian Kristy Huang and valedictorian Vivian Savage turn their tassels at the end of 2019 commencement exercises Friday evening.

Members of the class of 2019 found a number of ways to express themselves in their last official day as high school students, including Olivia Schneider showing an affinity that’s likely to lead her into the world of medicine.

A number of graduates also brought some extra pomp to the circumstance in how they greeted one another, such as Jordan O’Neal and Austyn Pingleton exchanging a low five and chest bump.

Invoking the words of Captain America, “With you ‘til the end of the line” in a group decoration on their mortarboards are (bottom from left) Trace Thomas, Erin Thomas and Cauy Thomas.
