Kathleen Sutherlin

Kathleen Garrett Sutherlin, 99, of Rockville, passed away at 8:20 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2019 at Mill Pond Health Campus in Greencastle.

She was born Dec. 3, 1919 in Greencastle to the late Arthur Carl Garrett and Mary Olive Cope Garrett.

She was a graduate of Clinton Center High School in Clinton Falls.

Her husband of 64 years, Willard Sutherlin, whom she married on Aug. 16, 1938, preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 2003. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter, Donna Davies of Rockville; two grandchildren, Jody Davies of Rockville and Andrea Davies of Rockville; and one great-grandson, Garrett Winn of Rockville.

She was a member of Parkeville Christian Church and the former Morton chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 30 at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard St., Rockville, with the Rev. Carl Huxford officiating. Burial will follow at Sutherlin Cemetery north of Morton.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Gooch Funeral Home.
