Putnam Scanner for June 1, 2019

Three people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Friday

• At 12:11 a.m. Terra Renee York, 20, Greencastle, was housed at the jail on a local warrant for theft.

Thursday

• At 11:58 a.m. Ricky Wayne Luna, 31, Plainfield, was booked in as a habitual traffic offender.

• At 9:53 a.m. Cody Lee Spaulding, 24, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail on an out-of-county warrant.

City Police

Greencastle Police officers recently issued traffic citations to eight different motorists.

• At 1:40 a.m. Monday, Michael Shoopmon, 21, Cloverdale, was cited by Officer Luke Brown.

Stopped on Bloomington Street near South Street, Shoopmon was ticketed for driving 45 mph in a 30 mph zone.

• Also at 1:40 a.m. Monday, Officer Brown cited Hannah Heim, 24, Avon.

Heim was ticketed for possession of paraphernalia.

• At 12:09 a.m. on Monday, Diontae Twitty, 24, Indianapolis, was cited by Officer Brown.

Stopped on Bloomington Street, Twitty was ticketed for driving while never having been licensed and for driving 44 mph in a 30 mph zone.

• At 3:14 a.m. on Sunday, Hailey Cooksey, 21, Brazil, was cited by Officer Brown.

Stopped on Manhattan Road, Cooksey was ticketed for driving left of center.

• At 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Marcus Harmon, 48, Greencastle, was cited by Officer Brown.

Stopped on Horseshoe Drive, Harmon was ticketed for not possessing a valid license.

• At 10:55 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, Eric Billings was cited by Officer Brown.

Stopped on Warren Drive near Indianapolis Road, Billings was ticketed for driving with expired plates.

• At 12:55 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, Tiffany Peelmon, 30, Mooresville, was cited by Officer Alec Pettit.

Stopped on State Road 240 Peelmon was ticketed for driving with no visible taillights.

• At 10:30 p.m. on Monday, May 20, Zachary Berg, 18, Fillmore, was cited by Officer Brown.

Stopped on County Road 150 South near County Road 250 East, Berg was ticketed for an unsafe start.
