Cindy L. Chadd, age 66, Greencastle, passed away Monday morning, June 3, 2019 at Putnam County Hospital.

She was born in Greencastle on May 15, 1953, the daughter of William and Mary Grace Butts Templeman.

She worked for 11 years in Greencastle High School cafeteria management. She loved to cook and ran a bed and breakfast in Parke County as well as a concession trailer.

She loved flowers. She liked to be around people, was devoted to her family, church and her dogs Elvis and Priscilla.

She is survived by her husband Darren Chadd of Greencastle; sons Chad Evens (fiancée Kathy Smith) of Greencastle and Ryan Evens of Bainbridge; granddaughter Temperance Evens of Greencastle; and brother-in-law Bryan Chadd (Rich Ashcroft) of Arizona.

She was preceded by her parents and brother Ken Templeman.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Lifespring Church in Greencastle with visitation from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
