A Paint-In, organized in conjunction with the Indy Decorative Artists, is set for 10 a.m. Thursday at the Putnam County Museum.

The event is open to the public and no experience is needed to create a work on canvas, led by artist/teacher Cindi Estes.

The Indy Decorative Artists have been a chapter of the Society of Decorative Painters since 1974. Currently, some of their artwork is on display at the museum, located at 1105 N. Jackson St., Greencastle.

It is a friendly group of painters who recognize a diversity of skills and styles and look forward to meeting Putnam County people who are interested in art.

The cost of the day is $20 and includes a lunch catered by Myers’ 5 East.

Call the Museum at 653-8419 for more information and to make a reservation
