Linda L. Wesley

Linda L. Wesley, 76, passed away in her home on Thursday, June 13, 2019.

She was born on July 21, 1942 to Robert and Joyce Hadley, who preceded her in death.

She was raised in Brazil, along with her two surviving sisters, Judy (Mike) Ford of Nashville and Cathy (P.J.) Davenport of Terre Haute.

On June 4, 1961, Linda married the love of her life, John E. Wesley. Together they raised three children, Jane (Michael) Sutherlin of Greencastle, Tony “Scott” (Harolena) Wesley of Bainbridge and Christine “Chris” (Darin) Buis of Belle Union.

She has eight grandchildren whom she adored, Sara (Tony) Byrum, Jeremiah Sutherlin, Candace Wesley, Devan Buis, Kelsey Wesley, Ami (Kendal) Erickson, Aaron (Hope) Wesley and Casey Buis.

She enjoyed watching them show livestock, sing in choirs, perform plays and play various sports.

Her three beloved great-grandbabies brought the most joy: Ava Noel, Kyla Skye and Owen Jack. She cherished every moment with all of her babies.

A celebration of life will take place from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, June 22 at New Hope Fellowship Church, 2450 N. U.S. 231, Greencastle.
