Longtime local musician Mike Van Rensselaer will bring his banjo, guitar, songs and stories to the Music Mondays children’s concert series Monday at Robe-Ann Park.

The concert will take place at 12:30 p.m. in sheltherhouse No. 2.

The former Greencastle Middle School teacher has entertained young and old alike since retiring, playing in elementary schools, nursing homes, college classrooms and various other venues in Putnam County.

As always, he will encourage children in attendance to sing along with him and to participate in the stories he will tell.

The final Music Mondays concert of 2019 will take place on July 1, featuring the Gambill family.

In the event of rain, the Music Mondays shows will be moved to Ridpath Primary School.

The Music Mondays kids concert series is a gift to the community from Greencastle Christian Church.
